Limecrete
Leca stands for lightweight expanded clay aggregate and it consists of small particles of burnt clay with thousands of small air-filled cavities. These give the Leca its strength and thermal insulating qualities.
Leca can be used in conjunction with NHL5 to create a lightweight insulating lime concrete, or limecrete, suitable for creating insulated floor slabs.
Leca is also available in coated form and can be used as loosefill below a floor slab as hardcore/ insulation combined. The coating ensures that moisture absorption from the ground below does not extend beyond the base layer.
Available in 50L bags or 1.2m³ bulk bags (discount buying bulk)
